Enhanced Access
We deliver an out of hours service to provide you with more choice and a greater number of appointments. These are available every weekday evening, and on a Saturday each week throughout the year.
Enhanced access clinics are a core part of our work. We deliver over 100 hours of appointments each week. In the enhanced access clinics you can receive.
- Routine general practice appointments.
- Family planning services including coils and implants.
- First contact physiotherapy clinics.
- Specialist nurse clinics including diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Our staff are able to access your notes and write directly into your general practice record. We can prescribe for you just as your own practice team would.
These appointments are for all patients although they work particularly well for those that cannot easily make appointments during their practices' usual opening hours.
The appointments are offered from several of the general practices, but you do need to have booked an appointment first.

How to access this service
You can access our service by asking reception at your surgery. They will book you straight in, no GP referral needed.
